Acer Aspire ES1-511-C59V Review

Acer Aspire ES1-511-C59V is a 15.6 inch laptop for student, businessman, or users who use this as a regular web-browsing laptop, watching videos, emailing,… and this device works very well for that purpose.

Acer Aspire ES1-511-C59V notebook provides the performance you’ve come to expect that allows you to communicate with family and friends,  enjoy entertainment, and get your work done. It comes with Intel Celeron N2830 Dual-Core Processor 2.16GHz up to 2.41GHz. This is a very good processor for doing your everyday work like browsing the web, chatting, making video calls and other day to day activities.

This Acer is equipped with 4GB DDR3 RAM in the memory department makes sure there isn’t any lag when two or more applications are running at the same time. The storage device inside is a 500GB HDD at 5400rpm.  This is a lot of space for users who is only doing everyday tasks. Even some mid range is content with this kind of space.
For Graphics card, it uses Intel HD Graphics which has a dedicated memory of 64MB. If you are a hardcore gamer you might have already decided that this is not the one for you. But if you are users who play simple games like candy crush, angry birds and some other browser games then the Acer Aspire ES1-511-C59V will suit your gaming needs perfectly.
About design, we have to agree that there is a little improvement in design. The lid has a textured matte finish which is clear when you take a look at it. This should give a good feel and definitely not very cheap. The keys are well placed and there is no num pad which could have been a little handier. The Acer Aspire ES1-511-C59V looks slim from the sides which is a good thing at the price $250. It is very lightweight and the perfect size.
The Acer Aspire ES1-511-C59V comes with 15.6 inch HD widescreen cine crystal display. Since it is HD it is evident that the screen comes with 1366 x 768 pixels in them which give it a decent pixel density. The screen is also LED backlit which allows the display to absorb less power and of courses do more. The screen comes with good color reproduction and should be a treat to watch movies and play games in this device.
Available ports include a USB 3.0 port which is a great thing. Because USB 3.0 port provides up to 10x faster transfer speeds than the USB 2.0! Transfer a 25GB HD movie in just 70 seconds. There are also a couple of USB 2.0 ports, an HDMI port and digital media card reader. There is Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity which is the order of the day these days. There are also other standard connectivity options available.

Acer Aspire ES1-511-C59V Reviews
Pros
Acer Aspire ES1-511-C59V is a great laptop-especially for the price
USB 3.0 port in a budget laptop, you will be really amazing at how fast it is! It can transfer 1,700 pictures from an external hard drive and it only took a couple of minutes.
It is very lightweight and the perfect size
The keyboard is actually very nice. It provides good feedback and feels quite nice to type on. Keys are mostly well spaced, although you’ll need to get used to the number pad being gone, but that only takes a couple hours of use on this laptop.
Full size keyboard + the Windows 8 shortcut keys
Cons
There’s also no CD drive so you’ll have to buy an external drive, download certain programs, or use a flash drive you need. But in return you have a notebook thinner and lighter than the other 15.6-inch laptops. To me, I really I do not need one. When I bought it. If I buy an external DVD, it’ll still be cheaper than most laptops at these specs.
The ports are in the back – this might be an issue for some, but I like it and think it’s pretty unique.
